DeSoto is composed on one city (Arcadia); one census-designated place or CDP (Southeast Arcadia), and; several unincorporated communities (Brownville; Cubitis; Fort Ogden; Hull; Joshua; Lake Suzy; Lansing; Nocatee; Platt; Southfort, and; Pine Level).
