Washington Details

Washington is state located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. It is bordered by Idaho to the east, Oregon to the south, Pacific Ocean to the west and the Canadian Province of British Columbia to the north. It has a total land area of 66,544 sq mi. It grows abundant apples, lentils, dry edible peas, red raspberries, spearmint oil, sweet cherries and apricots. Washington also ranks high in the production of asparagus, grapes, peppermint oil and potatoes. Aside from these mentioned, Washington also provide livestock and livestock products which give significant contributions in their economy.

Washington abounds in manufacturing industries that are dedicated to aircraft and missiles, shipbuilding and other transportation equipment, lumber, food processing, metals and metal products, chemicals and machinery.
