Bradford County has a total land area of 300 square miles. It is bounded by Duval County, Florida and Baker County, Florida to the north; Clay County, Florida to the east; Putnam County, Florida to the southeast; Alachua County, Florida to the south, and; Union County, Florida to the west. This county covers the town of Brooker; City of Hampton; City of Lawtey, and; City of Starke. Bradford County forms part of the Gainesville Metropolitan Statistical Area.
