Boca Raton is a coastal city located in Palm Beach County, Florida. It is about 20 miles north of Fort Lauderdale and 30 miles south of Palm Beach. This city which has a total land area of 29.1 square miles is the “principal city” of South Florida metropolitan area. Boca Raton is home to three of the ten most expensive gated communities in the U.S. according to the world-renowned Forbes. These top three gated communities include The Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club which ranks 1st, The Sanctuary which ranks 6th, and the Le Lac which is on the 8th spot.
